The word collage was coined by both Georges Braque and Pablo Picasso. Collage is a fancy word meaning "to glue". Collage is a legitimate art form.
Professional artist and Instructor, Kristin MacPherson will guide you through introductory collage techniques using a step-by-step process that will allow you to have creative freedom to explore with out expectation of final results. You will learn easy and fun ways to assemble found objects such as magazines, paints, papers, fabrics, and even photos!
YOU CAN EXPECT:
Small class size means more attention to your needs. Group instruction for up to four students.
Demos and hands on time to practice the techniques
Exercises that allow you creative freedom to explore with out expectation of final results
Explorative activities that encourage a sense of adventure and play
Explore different collage items and ephemera
Direction is provided but you are allowed to explore your creative vision
