Learn to draw and let go of expectations and judgement. Drawing is not always about accurate representation.
Experimental Drawing will build your creative muscle while teaching you skills to expand your knowledge of what drawing is. Traditional and non-traditional techniques with various media. Explore mark making, texture, line, colour and composition on different surfaces.

Slow down and really see, to enable you to draw.

Realize a good drawing can be a drawing that does not look like anything. It may look like scribbles and that is ok.
Exercises that allow you creative freedom to explore with out expectation of final results
Explorative activities on multiple surfaces. They may be paper, mylar, vellum,
Using both dry and wet media you will explore mixed media and abstraction drawing techniques

I really enjoyed this class. I took it because it fit my schedule and I was interested in drawing. I found myself trying new things that were not exactly what I thought drawing was meant to be. Kristin is knowledgeable. It was an excellent class.
